30 year career began as a graduate of North Bennet Street School in Boston; the country’s oldest continuously operating trade school, established for immigrants in 1885. Expert in the Federal period, creating reproductions and restorations. Designs and builds pieces that encompass three centuries of taste and styles. Pieces range from vanities and elaborate cabinets to benches, window seats, beds, headboards, tables and chairs. Skilled at carving, veneer and inlay work, comfortable with modern as well as old fashioned techniques. Pieces commissioned by Loews Hotel and other companies headquartered in Manhattan, as well as many designers whose clients reside across the country from Greenwich, CT to Los Angeles, CA. |
